Enhance the comfort of your floor with underfloor heating. Ideal for conservatories, bathrooms, kitchens and indeed any tiled floor.

Underfloor heating produces a more agreeable climate in the room maintaining a constant temperature level which saves energy by up to 15% when the floor has been correctly insulated. Ordinary radiators primarily provide heat at head height and, as tiled floors are cold, it will in principle always be cold down at foot level. Underfloor heating provides the perfect heat distribution where it is warmer at foot level and cooler at head height.

It produces an even heat without being visible and affecting the aesthetic feel of a room. With a traditional radiator system a significant amount of heat is dissipated through the wall. During the summer months, water heating is normally switched off, but with an underfloor heating system selected areas can be kept warm and dry all year around. The water pipes in a typical water based floor heating system are over twice the diameter of heating cables and have to be installed much deeper in the floor. This results in a ''slower responding'' system. Electric floor heating is however normally installed close to the floor surface which means that the air in the room warms up more rapidly, whilst the energy consumption is reduced. Furthermore electric under floor heating is a ''no maintenance'' system and is considerably easier and cheaper to install and can never leak!

As an approved Ebeco installer, I’d be happy to discuss your needs, correct installation procedures including insulation and provide you with advice and costings.
